Forms part of: Alfred Deakin Prime Ministerial Library collection. Digitized images. Photographed at: Deakin University, Geelong; in the late 1990s. Colour TIFF images at 300 dpi. The image forms part of the Brookes family album. The album spans the latter part of Alfred Deakin's life, circa 1910-1920. This event took place during Alfred Deakin's second term as Prime Minister. The Governor-General, Lord Northcote read the transmitted message at Point Lonsdale.
